Commitment to Excellence AwardsGuidelines, Selection Process, and Nomination Submission

 

Westside Community Schools Foundation recognizes outstanding employees annually with the Commitment to Excellence Awards. WECC and Club 66 would like to offer you the opportunity to nominate a dedicated employee from our program who you feel is deserving of such award. The nomination procedure will allow Site Directors, Team Members and Families an opportunity to nominate an employee to compete for the Commitment to Excellence Award. This award is open to all WECC and Club 66 employees with an active employment status and will continue employment in the 2025-2026 school year.

 

Criteria for Nomination:

• This award recognizes child care providers who demonstrate exceptional dedication to the care, development, and well-being of children.

• The award acknowledges outstanding practices in child care, including individualized care, staff professionalism, family engagement, and program quality.

• Continuing an active employment status with WECC and Club 66 for 2025-2026 school year.

1. Nominations

Nominations will be open to all WECC & Club 66 staff and families. Survey Monkey nominations must be submitted by Friday May 2nd.

 

2. Final Selection Process

The selection committee will be comprised of Westside Foundation Board Members and WECC Administrators.
 Each committee member will individually rate the nominees based and the criteria listed above and information contained in the attached nomination form.

 

3. Recognition:

The selected teacher(s) will be recognized at the year-end Employee Recognition Ceremony on May 23, 2025.Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge the hard work, dedication and passion of WECC employees.

The mission of the Westside Early Childhood and Before and After School Programs is to provide a safe, engaging educational environment for children ages eighteen months through sixth grade.   The program offers developmentally appropriate opportunities for children to grow and develop socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically with the support and guidance of competent and compassionate adults.
